Overview

This in-house briefing can be delivered over either a half or a full day and provides an overview overview of what has been changed with the updating of ITIL® from v2 to v3.

Key Learning Objectives

Attendance on this in-house briefing will enable participants to:  

  • Understand the key principles and terminology used within ITIL® v3.
  • Understand the key differences between v2 and v3.
  • Make informed decisions regarding the need for their organisation to realign their implementation of ITIL® to the new version.
  • Understand the new concepts / processes, and structure of ITIL® v3.

Who will benefit?

This in-house briefing is suitable for all levels of IT Staff that had exposure to ITIL® v2, and who wish to know how it differs from ITIL® V3.
 
Although there are no formal prerequisites for this course, it is anticipated that delegates will be familiar with ITIL® v2.
 
It should be noted that this is not an ITIL® v3 course. Rather it is a course that specifically covers the main differences between v2 and v3.
